The Continuum of Truth

The continuum of Truth suggests that which will happen already happened and will keep happening the same way.

but not quite so, they say,

I met a tree that grew towards the East and died toward the West

how could this be?

Two paths taken, a singular entity?

Har! Impiety!

Unthinkable lore! this i said when came the words

"Took a man the same path but twice

Within the same linetime"

Yes, yes! this sung he from my peripheral whom i did see or didn't

That's when the loop left a whisper in the summertime still

"I'm not a knot"

A line?

A line!

it was never me who tied your tongue, you know.

I never had a marble to begin with,

And the West bent towards the East yet somehow ended up in the West

The beginning began before it was complete!

and we died before we ever came to live

It was a line! Plain and true

death grew inwards

he whispered this to me in slumber,

i heard it,

i told him,

Yesterday before we started talking

So that now I'm on the edge of this platform singing songs of wise men by the shore

Having forgotten everything they had ever known
