skeletalhood

don't worry

you don't owe nothing to me

or to him

or to she

i know

your limbs are weak

i can see you trying to pull yourself up,

like the others

i can also see that you're physically capable

we share this in common, you see

watching our friends go normally, indefinitely

we have to sit every so and so, you and me

whispering

of life

desperately

you've had enough

come, join my presence

who said the dead must hang with the living?

aren't you tired of faking a forgotten will?

isn't it hard to have your muscles clenched to hold together your skin?

i can see, you're trying

but just stand still

like that

and take my hand, like this

now let go of your skin

stop speaking, stop speaking

look at me

I'm dead too

and i have so much to teach you

but first breathe in

and see that you are possible
