can a riptide be formed in a swamp?

because my gut,

it's bugged

my god got lost in the mud, the flood

i woke up with my hair being tugged

my locks, now long gone,

i was in a bed ten feet above the ground

and when i got up in a jolt, the bed just sunk

because there's a swamp in my gut, and i felt it suck
