Mental OCD

i didn't even know it was a possibility, 

used to blame it on mental OCD,

sometimes you have really weird thoughts you know

mental game shows, out of the blue

If that plant in the vase is real, I'll have a good day. 

If i make it to the threshold of this sidewalk line with the very tip of my left foot, I'll win ten thousand bucks.

and then it turns, 

a fake plant, drowsy day

a toe too far, lose 10K

It becomes dark,

the loss of a life,

the cost of a crime

random, really random

you're rolling a dice on impossible 

possibilities

but are they? 

impossible--i mean

I don't mean to fill you with dread but

there's this legend,

that tells of a place 

where all the thoughts that could be, become.

every

single

one. 

And that point in space,

fleshed out by the depths of the subconscious,

is not so kind. 

the architectural culprit? 

both engineer and god?

your psychopathic mind.
