Hush, careful! Eyes, move

I was afraid of looking up

With eyes imploringly hesitant to the world,

In fear of that loudness reverberating back into them

Not daring to

See

Putrefying in their stillness you noticed a rock frozen, unable to move

You brought out your twigs and leaves, told everyone to hush, to

Hush don't make a fire, only dew, and only a few my friends you said

You don't know the half

of the abused

And so you all smoked those twigs and warmed my sockets,

I could move them and so i, without thought

Looked up

It was too late

I saw what i saw

Love

and

In all of your eyes confusion, an effervescent preach

Of this world and mine
