blue eyes white dragon

misconception—

red skies,

blood cotton

I met a man named Rome

exiled from Troy

eyes that were black

but changed colour,

sometimes white-like, sometimes real dark-

it's as if when he spoke

i could hear 11 territorial countries listing

stolen names,

forgotten plays,

but things don't perish

𝘯𝘪𝘩𝘪𝘭 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵

his brethren called out names,

demanded retribution

he refused acknowledgement,

when this void expanded,

took away his courage

cursing Ovid for repentance

but we all knew, it was his purpose

in slumber,

in slumber

to claim the persona of the archangel

when he was himself Djibril

depth perception—

blue-eyes,

white dragon.
